4 simple tricks on how to take your old button down shirt to the next level

Hey ladies,

It is Thursdayyyyyy, one more day till the weekend…yipieeeee!! i am glad i survived it with my 7 month old having an ear infection and my boss leaving upstate and thinking that i could handle everything on my own. Men…
So today’s post is about reinventing outfits from clothes that are already hanging in your closet. We all want to shop all day but at times there is a limit to how many sale items one could shop ( and a bank account that is about to be in the red numbers ). Using what you already have does not cost anything and makes you have more outfit options. A crisp white button down shirt is something everyone has and uses, so i found 4 ways how to be able to reinvent it and look like as if you just bought yourself a new outfit.

1. Twist it
Pair your shirt with a midi skirt and leave the last two button open, enabling you to make a twisted knot. Super stylish look for everyday.

2. Crop it
Over your shirt wear a crop top and you got yourself a new outfit that is pretty in trend these days. Crop tops are a super cool look but if you do not want to show your bare belly this look will be perfect.

3. Layer it
Take any kind of dress and wear it over your shirt. it could be a halter dress or a shift dress. Even Olivia Palermo the style icon came up with this awesome idea! Perfect for taking your old party dress and shirt and making a new look out of it.

4. Accessorize it
The most easiest way to take your shirt up a notch. Pair it with some chunky necklace in order to bring that old shirt to the next level.

I hope you found those tricks helpful. Remember: Style is all about inventing. Use your own ways to create new looks with clothes that you already have. Let me know how it came out. Happy Thursday ladies.
