It has been an exciting week so far. The arrival of a new princess girl and the famous Met ball that took place yesterday here in New York.
Let’s take a closer look at the fashion moments of the Met ball 2015.
First of all as a modest fashion blogger i was a bit disappointed at the whole fashion rundown. There was more art than fashion, more crazy than glam and more nude than fabric. I don’t know about you guys but seeing a woman half-naked on the red carpet (Bey) does really not inspire me. Why not leave a little for imagination? where is the fashion here, if all you are dressed with, is your body? I believe the more you hide the more intriguing you are. That said i think there were a few ladies out there that really took the less skin is more to the next level.
I love the deep jewel tones and the sophistication those ladies have brought forward.
What i also liked was the many innovative headpieces. There was flowers, crowns and jewels. On a side note i did NOT like SJP headpiece, way to crazy and total fashion faux-pas. Kate Hudson really scored points by me, she looked absolutely stunning. Her look was radiant, strong and beautiful and her face showed it all.
All in all there were very few woman who portrayed the fashionable, strong person we all believe in. Clothes reflect your inner self, they reflect who you are and how you want others to see you. I still have hopes that woman out there still have the self respect to dress like they are worth something. Worthy of respect, power and love.
Happy Tuesday my ladies,
