My 10 favorite Coffee Table Books

It is starting to become a long, cold and very dreary Winter. Which is the perfect excuse to curl up on your couch and read some of my favorite coffee table books. Not only are they Interesting, gorgeous and fashion-focused, they also instantly make your living room look much more chic and they are a great source of conversation and fashion chatter. When it comes to glossy books illustrating all things fashion i could spent hours reading and flipping through those amazing pages full of eye candy. My most favorite one is definitively “The woman i wanted to be” by Diana von Fürstenberg, besides that she is one of the people i really look up to she is the pillar of classy but chic fashion. I have compiled a list of 10 that i am most looking forward to getting my hands on. Check them out—you’re likely to find several stylish tones that would be a welcome addition on your coffee table.

2. Dior. An exquisite exploration of the relationship between Christian Dior and perfumes, celebrating sixty-five years of inspiration, innovation, and style. I adore Dior, and love perfumes, enough said.

3. Vogue Living. All about Living, Houses, Garden and People, all of my favorite subjects.

4. The big book of chic. An internationally acclaimed interior design sensation, Miles Redd is known for his quirky brand of cozy glamour. This lavishly illustrated volume features a diverse selection of his unique interiors, an inspiration to anyone interested in spirited, eclectic design.

5. The Woman I Wanted To Be. One of the most influential, admired, and innovative women of our time: fashion designer, philanthropist, wife, mother, and grandmother, Diane von Furstenberg offers a book about becoming the woman she wanted to be. A must read!

6. Fifty Dresses That Changed The World. You do not need to be a fashionista to love this one. A guided tour of the 50 most important dresses in social history and design.

7. Elie Saab. Pure eye candy!

8. The Little Black Jacket. The Little Black Jacket contains Karl Lagerfeld’s photographs of celebrities wearing the jacket with individual flair – sometimes classic, sometimes irreverent, but always Chanel – and each styled by Carine Roitfeld.

9. Harper’s Bazaar Greatest Hits. Harper’s Bazaar: Greatest Hits is a collection of more than 300 photographs that chronicle the best fashion of our time.

10. Valentino. At The Emperor’s Table. At the Emperor’s Table is an invitation into Valentino’s refined world of graceful and cultured living. A remarkable collection of table settings and art objects in his five residences: Gstaad, London, Rome, New York, and Paris, as well as on his yacht.

    I love that use your coffee table books as more than simple eye candy, and actually read them. I’m the same with my cookbooks – love a cookbook that has a story to tell.
